What you need Know for Travel to Iran?  

What you need for Entry to Iran?

1- Passport: Required, except for merchant seaman traveling on duty in possession of a Seaman Book.

Validity: All alien non-residents should hold passports that are valid at least 6 months after period of intended stay.

Admission and transit restrictions: The Government of Iran refuses admission and transit to:

a. Nationals of Israel.

b. Women if not conforming to Islamic standards of modesty in dress.

2- Visa: Warning: Non-compliance with the entry/transit regulations will result in fines of USD.500. - while passenger will be deported at

carrier's expense.

Visa: required, except for:

1. nationals of Iran;

2. holders of diplomatic and service passports, holding proof that they are accredited Iran;

3.Nationals of the following countries for a stay not exceeding 90 days:  U.A.E ,  Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Omman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Turkey.

4. All nationals except mentioned under 1. "Passport"-Admission and transit restrictions, for entry to free zones of Kish,

Consular offices have been set up at Mehrabad, Imam Khomeini, Abadan, Mashed, Shiraz, and Tabriz airports to issue a 07 days visa to foreign tourist upon their arrival. 15 days visa available online http://electronicvisa.ir for entry via Imam Khomeini airport only. 3- Transit (TWOV)

Those continuing their journey by same or first connecting aircraft within 24 hours and without leaving the airport (no overnight facilities at

the airports of Abadan and Tehran). They must hold tickets with confirmed onward reservations and documents to a destination outside Iran.

4- Re-entry permits

Required by all alien residents issued by the Foreign Affairs Bureau.

Issue:

1. On arrival only possible if passenger is invited by the government as guest and met on arrival by Ministry representatives with pre-arrange-

ment with immigration officials.

2. By one of the consulates of Iran abroad if passenger is invited by an Iranian Tour & Travel Company.

5- Foreign Spouse:

Applicants under 18 years of age of those Iranian women having a foreign spouse must submit the following additional documents to those mentioned above:

·         Children birth certificate

·         Marriage license

·         Fathers’ consent for the children traveling with their mothers

·         If a marriage is not officially registered with the Embassy, or in case of divorce from husband, the mother must submit a certificate of her child’s custody.

Applicants who have legally renounced their Iranian citizenship must also produce a certificate of his or her renunciation.

Remarks: In case an applicant is sponsored by friends or family members in Iran and the visa authorization has been issued by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it would still be mandatory to submit the abovementioned documents.

NOTE 1: ( No charge is apply for Children under 4 years of age. 50% discount for Children under 12 years. Euros.50. - for Youth Students, Teachers and Professors).  

NOTE 2: Our Visa service charge stated above is not including the Fee where is collecting in Iranian Consulates.
